Golden Palace Streaker Strikes Again
We’re not sure if it’s a case of a streaker striking or a striker streaking, but the crowd certainly seemed mesmerised by his ball skills. Yes, notorious exhibitionist, Mark Roberts, is back, dancing his way onto the pitch on a blustery night in Gothenburg yesterday, where Valencia and Marseilles were attempting to conduct the comparatively trivial matter of a UEFA Cup final.
Roberts was greeted with good-natured cheers from the supporters and slightly baffled smiles from the players as, wearing nothing but ‘minimal player kit’ and the www.GoldenPalace.com logo, our hero wowed the crowd with some fancy footwork before being comprehensively ‘overcome’ by security and led off the pitch.
This is a year in which Mark’s ambitions to expose himself have known no bounds. He streaked at the PGA Tour's U.S. Open; the World Swimming Championships; the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain; most recently the Dortmund World Figure Skating Championships and most famously the Super Bowl in February. Golden Palace is reportedly ‘truly stunned’ by the growing public appreciation of its brand and the success of its somewhat outré marketing campaign.
