Before You Rely on Our Reviews

This page sets out the limits of what the international English section of thegambledoctor.com can promise you. The section, found at /play/, is run by Ironquay Press Limited and is read by people in many different countries. That is exactly why a clear disclaimer matters here: the rules that apply to you depend on where you live, and we cannot know them all.

Using any page of this section means you accept the terms below. If you disagree with them, please do not use the site. For the full rules of use, see our Terms of Use; for how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What this section is

TheGambleDoctor is a publisher. In the /play/ section we review online casinos, explain casino bonuses, free spins and bonus codes, describe how games work and compare payment methods, including Pay N Play casinos that let you deposit straight from a bank account.

That is all we do. We are not an operator and we hold no gambling licence in any country. We do not offer games, we do not accept stakes, and we never receive or store player funds. There is no account to open on our site and nothing to play here. Every game you play happens on the operator's website, under that operator's licence and terms.

2. Not advice of any kind

Our guides and reviews are general information for adult readers. They are not financial, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice, and they are not tailored to you. A casino that suits one reader can be the wrong choice for another. Decide for yourself, and get qualified advice if you need it.

3. Your local laws come first

Online gambling is legal in some countries, restricted in others and forbidden in some. An operator's licence from one jurisdiction does not make it legal for you to play from another. Seeing a casino on our site does not mean it is allowed, or available, where you are.

It is your responsibility to check the law in your country, state or province before you register or deposit anywhere. If gambling online is not lawful for you, do not use the casinos we describe.

4. Commission links

We earn money through affiliate links. When you click a "Play here" button or another partner link and then sign up or deposit with that operator, the operator may pay us a fee. It costs you nothing extra. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains the details.

5. Numbers that come from casinos and game studios

Several kinds of data on our pages are taken from other sources, mainly casino operators and game providers. They include RTP (return to player) percentages, wagering requirements, minimum deposits, free spin values, bonus code conditions, maximum bet limits and withdrawal times.

We publish these figures in good faith but cannot test or confirm each one. RTP is a theoretical average over a very large number of game rounds and tells you nothing about a single session; the same slot can also run at different RTP levels at different casinos. Treat every figure as a guide and confirm it at the source.

6. Keeping up to date

Casinos change offers, terms, game ranges and payment options all the time, and they rarely warn us first. We update our pages regularly, but at any given moment some details may be out of date or incomplete. The terms on the operator's website at the time you sign up are the ones that apply, not our summary of them.

7. Leaving our site

Many links take you to websites we do not own or control: operators, game providers, payment services, testing laboratories and support organisations. We are not responsible for what those sites publish, how secure they are, how they treat your data or how they handle your account.

If you have a problem with a casino, such as a refused withdrawal, a cancelled bonus or a verification dispute, you must take it up with the casino and, if needed, with its licensing authority or complaints service. We are not a party to your agreement with the operator.

8. Age limit

You must be 18 years or older to play at the casinos presented on thegambledoctor.com. Where your local law sets a higher age, that higher age applies to you. If you are under the legal age, leave this site now.

9. If gambling stops being fun

Gambling can be addictive. Decide in advance how much time and money you can afford to spend, use the deposit limits and time-outs your casino offers, and stop if you notice you are playing to win back losses. Help is available wherever you are:

  1. Gambling Therapy - free online support in many languages.
  2. Gamblers Anonymous - find a meeting near you.
  3. Gamban - block gambling sites on your devices.

Our Responsible Gambling page has more practical steps.

10. Who owns the content

Our articles, reviews, page design and graphics are owned by Ironquay Press Limited or used under licence. Linking to our pages is welcome. Copying or republishing our content without written permission is not.

Brand names, logos and game names belong to their owners and appear only to identify the products we write about. Their presence does not imply any endorsement of us by those owners.

11. Our liability

Everything on this section is provided as it is, and you use it at your own risk. As far as the law allows, Ironquay Press Limited accepts no liability for any loss, including gambling losses, lost winnings or lost data, that results from using our site, relying on its content, or dealing with an operator or any other third party we link to.

We also do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of technical faults. Where the law does not allow a limitation of liability, this section applies only as far as permitted.

12. Law and courts

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about it. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your own country.

13. Changes

We can change this disclaimer at any time by publishing a new version here. Please look at it from time to time; continuing to use the site after a change counts as acceptance.

14. Get in touch

Questions, corrections and complaints about our content are welcome at info@thegambledoctor.com. You can also reach us through the contact page.
